Transform your summer container displays with the vibrant beauty of Antirrhinum Trailing Mix. Unlike traditional snapdragons, this mix features a riot of colorful snapping dragon heads that billow over the sides of baskets and balcony planters, bringing a soft and enchanting edge to your planting designs. With a height and spread of 40cm (16in), these trailing snapdragons offer months of effortless color, creating a stunning focal point in any outdoor space. Easy to grow from seed, simply sow on the surface of a good free-draining, damp seed sowing mix, and place in a propagator or seal container inside a plastic bag at 20-25°C (68-77°F) until germination, which usually takes 10-21 days. Ensure light is not excluded, as this helps germination. Transplant seedlings into trays or 7.5cm (3in) pots once large enough to handle, and gradually acclimatize them to cooler conditions before planting out after all risk of frost, spacing them 23-30cm (9-12in) apart. Antirrhinum Trailing Mix prefers a sunny position in any garden soil, where it will thrive and continue to bloom abundantly. To encourage further blooming, remove spent flowers regularly, allowing for continuous bursts of colour throughout the season.
