Jumbo Crocus (Crocus vernus), larger than botanical varieties, burst with vibrant early spring color. Ideal for lawns, borders, or patio containers, they bloom a few weeks after botanical crocuses, creating a prolonged carpet of color. Flowers appear from February to March, reaching a height of 10cm. Yellow Mammoth, with its large, sunbeam-yellow blooms (bulb size 8-9cm), illuminates the spring garden.Crocuses herald the arrival of spring with their vivid cups of color, attracting bees and beckoning gardeners to plant them abundantly.Growing Information:Plant crocus bulbs in well-drained garden soil in full sun to semi-shade. For spring flowers, plant bulbs in autumn in large clumps, 10cm (4 inches) deep and spaced 7cm (3 inches) apart. Alternatively, grow them in containers or naturalize them in grassy areas.
