Thompson & Morgan Dahlia Figaro 15 Garden Ready Plants
Description
These fast growing plants with a compact and bushy habit have dazzling double and semi-double blooms that will create a stunning display. Ideal for creating a colourful, long lasting display in beds, borders and containers. Pot up Dahlia plants and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise dahlia plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting out in beds, borders and containers. Choose a position in full sun on any rich fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Feed and water dahlias regularly throughout the growing season. While dahlia plants are still young, pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage bushier growth and masses of flowers. Deadhead faded dahlia flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. Bedding dahlia are generally grown as annuals, however dahlia tubers may be lifted in autumn and stored over winter in trays of peat or sand, in a cool but frost free position if required. They can be potted up the following spring. Images shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary results.
