Thompson & Morgan Digitalis (Foxglove) Excelsior 15 Garden Ready Plants
Description
A top tall spires you will see delicate bell-shaped flowers with heavily spotted throats in pastel shades of mauve, pink, yellow or white. Their height makes these perfect for the back of borders and the evenly spaced flowers create a stunning display. Also great for cut flowers so great not only outdoors but indoors also. With nectar rich blooms these are great in cottage gardens and woodlands attracting wildlife. Although foxgloves prefer a fertile, moist soil, they will happily tolerate almost any soil except those that are excessively dry or waterlogged. Water foxglove plants regularly until fully established. Foxgloves self-seed freely. If seedlings are not wanted, deadhead stems of foxglove flowers as the blooms fade. In autumn, cut back old stems to encourage plenty of new side shoots. Images shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity.
