Description
Emilia Coccinea Scarlet Magic also known as the Tassel Flower produces eye-catching scarlet red blooms which add colour a texture to a garden border. Can be sown directly in the garden soil from spring onwards and will flower during the summer months. Makes a good cut flower – can also be dried.Sowing Time: March to May. Sow thinly, 3mm (1/8in) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart in well-cultivated soil – finely raked. Water ground regularly, especially in dry periods. Can also be sown in pots or trays of moist seed compost covered with a very fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Keep at between 15-20C (59-68F). After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged; germination will usually take 14-30 days. When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots or trays. Plant out after all risk of frost. When large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to 23-30cm (9-12in) apart.Product Specifications: 1 x seed packet (containing 350 seeds per pack)Position: Full SunHeight: Up to 30-40cm (12-18in) when fully establishedSpread: Up to 15-22cm (6-9in) when fully establishedSupplied as Flower Seed - Emilia Coccinea Scarlet Magic – Hardy Annual - Finished Packet (350 Seeds) by Thompson and MorganImages shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity.
