Sea Holly will grow in many different types of soil, so perfect for borders and 'Blue Hobbit' is a unique, dwarf Eryngium, which can be grown in a patio pot. Enjoy the electric blue flowers of Eryngium even sooner than usual with our Garden Ready plants. We despatch these packs of 15 tough super-size plants at the perfect time for planting out, usually before blooms form, which helps them establish quicker for better root growth and then a longer, stronger display of flowers. All Garden Ready Plants are grown in incredicompost and fed with incredibloom, guaranteeing the best performance ever. Grow sea holly plants on light, well-drained soil in full sun. Eryngium plants particularly dislike cold, wet soil in winter which may cause the crown to rot. If planting on heavy soils, dig in plenty of coarse grit to improve drainage prior to planting.
