Description
Sporting a contrasting stripe on every petal, these wide-eyed daisy like blooms are undemanding and free flowering. Flowering from June to October, these will happily tolerate drought or windy coastal sites. Pot up gazania plants and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When they are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before transplanting into their final positions in beds, borders and containers. Grow gazania plants in any light sandy, well-drained soil in full sun. Feed and water gazania plants until they are fully established. Regular deadheading of faded gazania flowers will encourage more blooms to be produced. Images shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary results. Image may be included for illustration of supply but can vary due to seasonality changes (e.g. deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months). Features: Even on dull and cloudy days, these will stay open making them perfect for our unpredictable British weather Versatile, easy to grow and compact with a bushy habit, these are great for growing in beds and borders and a hanging plant basket Supplied as Gazania 'Shepherds Delight' (Treasure Flower) 15 garden ready plants Specifications: Half-hardy Position: full sun Height: up to 20cm (8in) Spread: up to 20cm (8in) Supplied as Gazania 'Tiger Stripes Mixed' (Treasure Flower) 15 garden ready plants Model Number: 73689
