Primrose Husky Mixed is a very popular addition to UK gardens and a firm favourite with British gardeners. The Husky Mixed variety has a multitude of different colours: pink, red, purple, yellow, black, blue, violet, orange, all with that classic primrose shape and beautiful yellow eyes. The leaves are a spongey oval shape typical of primrose plants that act like a delicate cushion to the primrose flower head. The plants are great at cheering up patches of garden during the gloomy British winter, and they are delicately fragranced too. They are very low maintenance so very easy to look after. Primroses like to be planted up indoor and grown until they are mature enough to tolerate frost-free outdoor conditions. They need to be acclimatised over 7-10 days, before being planted out in beds, borders and containers. They prefer full sun in fertile moist well-drained soil.
