Turnip ‘Golden Ball’ is exactly as it states! You can expect wonderful butter-yellow dwarf compact turnips to appear from May all through to November, where you can add to multiple dishes throughout the year! These hardy beauties are especially flavoursome in homemade soups, casseroles and hot pots! Turnips should be grown quickly and kept well-watered. For the best flavour, harvest them before they get too large. For greens follow above instructions but don't thin out. The season can be extended by sowing under cloches in early spring and again in late summer.
