Aronia x prunifolia 'Autumn Magic' is unsurprisingly at its best in autumn as the name suggests, when it turns to shades of red and orange. Clusters of white, fragrant blooms appear above the green foliage in spring then the lovely round black berries will follow and persist into the winter months. Provides lots of seasonal interest and is great for large borders, woodlands and wildlife gardens. Grow Chokeberry in a wide range of different soils, they can cope with drought conditions as well as waterlogged ground, once plants are established. They will grow very well in slightly acidic soils. Grow in sun or light shade. Aronia plants require very little maintenance, just trim to fit space and remove any dead, diseased or damaged growth.
