Description
Aronia x prunifolia 'Aron' is the perfect way to add some stunning colour to your autumn displays with shades of red and purple. Clusters of white, fragrant blooms appear in April and May then the lovely round red-black berries will follow persisting well after the foliage has fallen. The compact, spreading habit is perfect for adding some colour to borders and woodland edges. Grow Chokeberry in a wide range of different soils, they can cope with drought conditions as well as waterlogged ground, once plants are established. They will grow very well in slightly acidic soils. Grow in sun or light shade. Aronia plants require very little maintenance, just trim to fit space and remove any dead, diseased or damaged growth.
