Easy to grow and quick to crop, this fantastic lettuce produces neatly rounded, frilly-edged leaves, perfectly formed to fit into buns. With little to no rib, leaves are sweet and crisp all the way through and won’t go soggy in a hot burger bun. Height: 30cm (12in). Spread: 25cm (10in).Water lettuce frequently and hoe between plants regularly to prevent weeds from establishing. Dry weather may cause heads of lettuce plants to bolt so watering is particularly critical during the 2 weeks before harvesting. A thick mulch applied around the plants will help to retain moisture in the soil.
