Chilli Pepper Cayannette produces prolific crops of bayonet shaped cayenne peppers with a mild spicy flavour. This variety is British bred for a neat and compact habit. This Chilli is a well branched upright variety and is ideal for growing in backets and containers and makes an eye-catching ornamental edible. This variety shows excellent tolerance to cold or hot weather while the dense foliage protects the crop from the sun. Height: 60cm (24”). Spread: 50cm (20”).Sow Chilli Pepper seeds on the surface of a good, free-draining, damp, seed sowing mix and cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place seed trays in a propagator at a temperature of 18-25C (64-77F) until after germination, which takes 7-10 days. Do not exclude light as this helps germination.Product Specifications:.
