Grow your own delicious tomatoes in the garden with our Grafted Gardeners Favourite Collection! This terrific collection of tomato plants contains a great selection of cordon varieties, offering different shapes, sizes, tastes and colours. Our grafted tomatoes offer increased resistance to soil-borne diseases and pests, plus greater vigour. A must have in any allotment or vegetable garden, harvest your homegrown tomatoes between July and October.Collection includes 2 each of the following varieties:Gardener’s Delight – a bitesize option packed with sweet cherry-sized fruits and provide a heavy crop. This cordon variety has been a best buy since 1984!Moneymaker – a classic and well-loved variety, which offers a heavy crop of medium sized fruits on cordon plants. It also has greenback resistance.Shirley – boasts a crop that matures earlier than the others but offers a heavy harvest of medium sized fruits. High quality fruits and are resistant to leaf mould, greenback and fusarium.Please note: there is a chance that these plants will include a grafting clip. This is an integral part of the grafting process and should be left in place. As the plant grows it will naturally shrug off the clip.Pot up and grow tomato plants on in warm frost-free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days. Choose a sheltered position in full sun on fertile, reliably moist, well-drained soil, and transplant at a distance of 60cm (24") apart. Alternatively grow tomatoes in patio bags and containers in good quality compost and cane into the soil adjacent to each plant to support them as they grow and tie each main stem to its support with soft garden twine.Position In: Full Sun.
