Grow your own crops of homegrown cherry tomatoes with ‘Sugar Gloss’ F1 – an outstanding new variety bred in the UK, producing long trusses of exceptionally sweet bright red fruits. The juicy cherry tomatoes are bursting with flavour and, at a 12% on the Brix sweetness scale, are even sweeter than Sungold! Heavy cropping, when grown in the greenhouse you can expect up to 60 fruits per plant, each weighing around 20-25g. Our grafted tomatoes offer greater vigour and increased resistance to soil-borne diseases and pests. This high-yielding cordon variety is a must-have for any tomato enthusiast.Pot up and grow tomato plants on in warm frost-free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days. Choose a sheltered position in full sun on fertile, reliably moist, well-drained soil, and transplant at a distance of 60cm (24") apart. Alternatively grow tomatoes in patio bags and containers in good quality compost such as John Innes No. 2.
