Thomson uses the finest quality Toray carbon fibre for its bars, which is produced using tailor-made Nano Epoxy Resin for an extremely high impact resistance. Toray is the main supplier to Boeing and Airbus. Also, the bars feature 1.5K woven impact ends to prevent damage to the unidirectional fibres in the event of an impact. Auxillary Brake Lever Ready With its wide, round top profile, there is plenty of room for various hand positions and the ability to run auxiliary flat bar levers on these bars. Plus, for extra hand comfort, twin flat areas on the bar’s underside create a round bar when taped up over the outer cables. Finally, shallow and wide flared drops provide you with ultimate control on the most challenging terrain.
