Wildash London Toscana Shearling Throw
Description
Each shearling rug we produce is completely unique in character due to its production process.. This gorgeous rich grey-brown shearling has stunning highlights in its fleece that really brings life to any room.. SUSTAINABILITY. We use shearling offcuts from the fashion industry and painstakingly sew these pieces together to produce these beautiful pieces. These heirloom pieces will last more than a lifetime and look beautiful for years to come.. Our shearling is a byproduct from the food industry. Our belief stems from respecting the animal as a whole and wasting nothing, we utilise something that would otherwise go to waste. We certainly don't believe in fur for the sake of fur and don't condone the killing of any animal for fur.. "Live responsibly and sustainably. Waste nothing. Respect everything.". The shearling is a type of sheepskin from the Toscana breed, which has incredibly soft fur while still being extremely hard wearing. The natural suede reverse provides a natural anti-slip surface, perfect for any floor.. The rich, variegated timberwolf colour has beautiful highlights and lowlights, and comes in a range of off-the-shelf sizes.. We can produce custom sizes for any room. All our sheepskin rugs are priced per square metre, so custom sizing does not cost any more than our off the shelf rugs. You may have to wait a little longer, though! Our turnaround time for a custom size shearling rug can take up to 3 weeks. For bespoke shearling rug sizes,. CARE: The best care for these is to give it a good shake outside every now and then. As a natural material, they are very good at self cleaning. Clean areas that have had spills by spot cleaning with a recommended wool wash. Do not use harsh chemicals or biological cleaners. Nature is best! You can also maintain your shearling beautifully by giving it a brush with a slicker brush using our all natural Washed Woollies spray which contains conditioning lanolin along with proprietary of cleansing and disinfecting essential oils including English Lavender, Tea Tree Oil, Eucalyptus, Bergamot & Lemon Myrtle OilIt is possible to machine wash your shearling but the best care for your shearling to maintain its original lustre and beauty is to avoid this.
