Trek Emonda ALR 6 Disc Road Bike 2021 A lightweight alternative to carbon fibre, Trek's Emonda ALR 6 is a superbly equipped disc brake road bike that gives bikes with a much higher price tag a serious run for their money. The lightweight 300 Series Alpha Aluminium frame is designed to climb with ease and descend with confidence, this is the perfect bike for year-round riding, with room for wider tyres and stocked with a carbon fibre fork and seatpost to double-down on comfort levels. A full Shimano Ultegra R8020 groupset provides seamless shifting through the 11-speed gearset. A mid-compact chainset sports 52/36t chainrings, and when used in combination with the 11-30t cassette, you can take this bike racing crits or into the high mountains and it won't feel out of place. Hydraulic disc brakes are simply better, stopping you quicker in any conditions, and allowing for more modulation and control of your speed into the corners. Rolling on a set of Bontrager Paradigm Disc wheels, you've got the option to upgrade to tubeless later on if you wish, and the quality finishing kit boasts a premium-feel. The stem is Blendr compatible too, so you can add any of the Bontrager computer or accessory mounts also (available separately).
