A water resistant front zip, inner storm flap and lycra cuffs at the wrists and waist all help seal out the worst of weather conditions. It's the ideal jacket for bike packing and commuting when you'll be caught out after dark and in changeable riding conditions. The jacket make use of breathable Ceplex active technology to stop rain getting in but still let sweat out - leaving you perfectly dry when wet weather arrives. The membrane makes use of 25% recycled or bio-based materials and refrains entirely from using any environmentally-harmful fluorocarbons (PFC) and has a rating of a minimum water column of 15,000 for long ride protection. Vaude also use Eco Finish, an environmentally friendly water-repellent finish without fluorocarbons (PFC). The use of eco-friendly materials is reflected with the VAUDE Green Shape label. This gives you confidence that this jacket is manufactured in an eco-friendly way and using sustainable materials, all proving that great kit doesn't have to harm the environment.
