Vault by Vans welcomes Deaton Chris Anthony back to the helm, this time to launch a collection of footwear and apparel that aims to bring style back to bowling. In this new collection, the Los Angeles-based artist, musician, and designer pays homage to his home state of Kansas and explores his lifelong quest to bowl the perfect 300. Inspired by early childhood memories of mowing the lawn in Kansas, the Vault by Vans x Deaton Chris Anthony Knu Skool VLT LX emulates a sneaker that has been used for repeated yard work. Full white leather uppers are embellished with a light green greasing throughout the sidewall and uppers to resemble grass stains on the shoe, and due to the nature of the greasing, no two pairs will look alike. Over time, the greasing treatment can fade, but the fond memories you make in the Knu Skool VLT LX will last forever.
