Description
The square of choice for professional furniture makers and engineers who require guaranteed accuracy over a lifetime of inspection and workshop use. These precision engineer’s squares are ground and lapped from high-quality carbon steel with a hardened and tempered blind riveted blade. They conform to BS939B/DIN875 for squareness of the blade both internally and externally for guaranteed accuracy, with the edges parallel ground and polished. Tolerance of the working surface and the blade edge falls within 0.016mm/0.00064" for every 150 mm of blade length and the incorporated relief groove means swarf, dust or saw whiskers will not affect the accuracy of reading in use. Peter Sefton has been using the previous generation of these Fisher squares for many years and he believes this new generation of squares are equal to or above other current squares within the same classification that can cost three times as much – These squares offer exceptional value and are worthy of the Verum name.
