By combining deep layers of natural fillings and body responsive pocket springs, the OrthoCare mattress offers a firm, yet comfortable support. Upholstered in a premium viscose fabric, the mattress features a hand tufted finish that ensures its deep fillings stay securely in place. Hand tufting is applied by passing nylon tapes through the mattress at regular intervals and securing them on both sides with woollen tufts. Nature has supplied us with all we need to produce top quality mattresses, so fillings such as wool, silk and cashmere are included. Natural fillings help to regulate temperatures by drawing moisture away from the sleepers body, resulting in a fresh sleeping environment. The core of the mattress is made up of small diameter pocket springs with each one housed in its own cloth sleeve and free of surrounding springs. This flexibility means the load on one coil is not affected by any surrounding springs, resulting in piston-like support to each part of your body. A flat rod-edge metal frame is fitted to the perimeter to ensure the integrity of the springs and allow you the full use of the mattress width. Its a dual sided mattress that requires to be rotated and flipped over on a regular basis to enhance its longevity, support and comfort.
