Manufactured to be supportive and comfortable, the OrthoCare 3000 mattress is designed to offer a medium to firm sleeping surface. Upholstered in a premium viscose fabric, the mattress features a hand tufted finish that ensures its deep fillings stay securely in place. Hand tufting is applied by passing nylon tapes through the mattress at regular intervals and securing them on both sides with woollen tufts. Internally, the mattress is made up of deep layers of natural fillings such as wool, silk and cashmere, plus body responsive pocket springs. The core of the mattress is made up of small diameter pocket springs with each one housed in its own cloth sleeve and free of surrounding springs. This flexibility means the load on one coil is not affected by any surrounding springs, resulting in piston-like support to each part of your body. A flat rod-edge metal frame is fitted to the perimeter to ensure the integrity of the springs and allow you the full use of the mattress width. Designed to be dual-sided, we recommend that you rotate and flip the mattress over on a regular basis for enhanced support and comfort.
