Description
Wilson D9 Forged Golf Irons - Steel The Wilson D9 Forged Golf Irons provide golfers with a set of clubs that can generate maximum ball speed and distance all while having the feel and control of a forged golf club. Wilson has used a new asymmetrical Power Hole arrangement that has moved the bias of the club to heel, allowing for the face of the club is much more open. Having a much more open club face allows for increased contact time with the golf ball so that more energy can be transferred into the ball to create incredible ball speed and distance. The centre of gravity in the D9 irons has been lowered to provide a higher launch, increased peak trajectory and a much steeper descent angle to create a set of irons that allow for more carry while having greater stopping power on the greens. The D9 irons have been created to feature a premium, carbon forged clubhead that provides golfers with an incredible level of control and feel so that every shot can be made with pinpoint accuracy. The forged design also features a thin topline and minimal offset which has resulted in a set of irons that not only play great but look incredible too. Features Nothing Feels Like Forged Premium, carbon forged heads combine an exceptional feel with a thin topline and minimal offset for irons that look as good as they play. Power Holes For Maximum Speed A new, asymmetrical Power Hole arrangement is optimized for forged heads and is biased towards the heel of the club, opening the face and increasing contact time with the ball for maximum speed and distance, all in a sleek player’s profile. Low Weight. High Performance. A lower center of gravity provides a higher launch, increased peak trajectory and a steeper descent angle. That means more carry and greater stopping power on the green.
