FOLKLAIRE Women's Xalitla Collection Silk Stole Black One Size FOLKLAIRE
Description
100% jacquard silk stole Hand illustrated and printed Hand roll hemmed Design inspired on the ‘amate' paper of Xalitla, Guerrero. In each of the towns of Mexico, celebrations summon up life through music, cockfighting, dances, flowers and animals, but, in Xalitla, the whole town becomes itself transmuted and shaped into the amate paper. Ink is plain of syncretism, invading the empty spaces to form silhouettes dancing to the cadence of music. The art for the elaboration of this piece was performed by craftsman artisan J. Guadalupe Pérez A. Preserve the delicacy of your silk scarf by storing it flat and untied. Avoid contact with rain, water and other chemicals.
