Andy Warhol In 1963, Andy Warhol moved into a studio on East 47th Street in NYC where his assistant covered the entire loft in silver foil that famously became known as The Silver Factory. The iconic studio was where Warhol created many cutting edge artworks like Silver Clouds. The Silver Factory became an epicenter of creativity in NYC, and a place where Warhol once said all kinds of people like musicians, artists and socialites came to see each other.
