THE ORTOFON A handmade solid wood record player console, made using reclaimed timbers & finished with several coats of cherry wax. This unique record player / TV console / Vinyl storage unit has been constructed using traditional dowel jointing for greater strength, combined with solid steel hairpin legs, this console can take a full shelf of vinyl no problem. The solid steel hairpin legs have been powder coated for durability & are available in a wide range of colours at no extra cost The reclaimed timbers have been specifically chosen for their unique charm & character & after much hand sanding & restoration, several coats of a rich cherry coloured wax are applied. The standard depth is 40cm, the standard height is 83cm & the internal shelf height is 34cm, however this can be made to your exact requirements to discuss a unique build, feel free to drop me a line. Please note that each timber is carefully selected for its unique charm & character & as such splits & imperfections are present in our handcrafted products, however each piece of wood is chosen so that the imperfections do not affect the structural integrity & stability. Delivery Notes: Delivery is free throughout most of the UK (see below). If you are not local to Manchester, then the product will be delivered via courier which means that the legs & any handles will be removed & the whole thing will be wrapped & packaged securely to enable safe transit. This will mean that they would need to be screwed back on (simply screw them into the clearly marked & predrilled holes with a screwdriver). Delivery can only be arranged for weekdays with a delivery window of between the hours 9am to 6pm. Please make sure that you can commit to this before making a purchase.
