Precious little bug. This gorgeous Gilded Rhino Beetle ring with diamond-encrusted wing case is makes an intriguing pendant. This piece consists of a life-sized rhino beetle cast in Sterling Silver, highlighted with gold plating, with garnets and tiny white diamonds. Solid Sterling Silver can become tarnished over time, if this happens the best method is to clean your chain is to lightly apply a polishing cloth to bring up the silver highlights. The chain and pendant are made from oxidised silver and so any using silver dip may remove this effect. The thorax is gold vermeil and should not be brought into contact with chlorine, household cleaning agents, perfumes or lotions. The design is as life-like as possible so care must be taken to not damage the legs; your jewellery should be the last thing you put on when getting dressed and extra caution should be taken whilst putting on coats and jumpers!
