The biggest difference between the X5R and X5 is in video recording capabilities (RAW), storage media (built-in removable 512GB SSD), and workflow. The Zenmuse X5R shoots video in lossless format to preserve maximum detail and enable precise editing and post-processing, giving cinematographers full control over the look of their footage.
