Zipp 858 NSW Carbon Tubeless Rim Brake Wheelset Created for speed, the Zipp 858 NSW Carbon Tubeless Rim Brake Wheelset is the ideal option for second chasing time trial riders and triathletes or aggressive road racers. The rim utilises the finest grade of carbon fibre to guarantee high lateral stiffness and low weight, while its SawTooth profile situates several Hyperfoil nodes along its inner circumference. These undulations vary the rim depth between 77 and 82mm to lower aerodynamic drag and heighten stability on windy rides. The SawTooth format also improves the wheelset’s lateral stiffness to quicken its response to surges in pace. HexFin ABLC dimples positioned strategically on the surface of the rims creates a slippery boundary layer of air, further lowering wind resistance, and a Showstopper brake track uses an innovative texture to improve braking in all conditions. A Cognition V2 hubset reduces rotational friction and incorporates a quick-engaging Axial clutch freehub. Durable and reliable Sapim CX-Ray spokes finalise the build.
