Description
Remade vest made from upcycled vintage fabric. The design and fabrics originate from the 'berliner-tuch' shawls of Germany, which eventually made their way to Hungary through trading and were colloquially called 'beliner'. Usually made from wool, the shawls were worn folded making them a warm alternative to winter coats. The Remade vest features the original fringes. The vintage fabric is supported with an additional 100% organic cotton lining. Each garment is produced locally and ethically in Hungary. Non-vintage fabrics are all certificated materials from qualified European manufacturers. Each piece in the Remade line is one-of-a-kind and due to the nature of the vintage fabrics can show variations.
