Perfectly suited for riders who enjoy discovering new roads and surroundings, this versatile wheelset is engineered to handle all the challenges that come with adventure riding. It features two wheels that are constructed from 6000 series aluminium for fantastic strength and control without adding any unnecessary grams to your gravel bike. 3T has also equipped this wheelset with a black satin anodised finish, making it suitable for riding in all-weather conditions without causing corrosion. Coming complete with a tubeless-ready design and an included pair of WTB Horizon tyres, this wheelset gives you fast-rolling performance and great cornering traction as you conquer every mile. Center Lock disc-brake hubs, 30mm wide, tubeless-ready alloy rims, and 24F/24R spoking make this wheelset ideal for new-wave adventure bikes. Rim well is a full 24mm wide, perfectly supporting both MTB and 650b tyres—fit really wide file-tread road tyres such as the 47mm WTB Horizon, or full-on 2.2-inch offroad tyres. A 27.5-in wheel with a fat tyre fitted gives little away in weight to a standard 700c fitment; it also permits frame geometries close to road designs, preserving the quick handling and acceleration of a race bike. Discus Plus build is similar to Discus, utilising the 3T linear+ system. Asymmetric rim drilling reduces the difference in spoke tension between the drive side and non-drive side. Hubs have a light-alloy oversize spindle with modular end-caps that can be easily swapped from quick-release to thru-axle as needed; rear width can run 135mm or 142mm. Light-alloy rim is 21mm deep and fits tubeless or tubed tyres.
