Description
This Flower Power cushion lets you craft a sweet scene featuring busy bees flitting from one colourful flower to another in their search for pollen. Suitable for an intermediate sewer, it is constructed using the raw edge appliqué technique to help advance your sewing skills. Details on the flowers and the ambling flight path of the bees are created through decorative quilting, stitches by machine or hand, or a mix of both, if desired. The "fold and cut" method of cutting out the circular flower pieces is inspired by paper-cut snowflakes. Have fun applying this simple principle to fabric with beautiful results! Wadding and Bondaweb are not included in this kit.
