Description
Montblanc Watch 1858 Automatic. MB117833.. The Montblanc 1858 watch collection is inspired by the legendary Minerva watches from the 1920’s which were designed for military personnel and used for outdoor exploration. Alongside its vintage aesthetic commemorating the spirit of mountain adventurers, these stunning men’s watches bring to life the needs of the modern man with satin-finished stainless steel cases, slim bevelled horns and vintage-inspired detailing. This Montblanc 1858 Automatic watch does just that, embodying the Swiss watch manufacturer’s legacy for excellence with a 40mm finished stainless steel case detailed with the emblematic Mont Blanc mountain on the case back alongside the image of a compass and two crossed ice pick-axes as a nod to mountain exploration.. The Montblanc 1858 Automatic watch continues to impress with a handsome black dial that contrasts perfectly against the vintage-inspired cathedral shaped hands with a “cloisonné” design that has been slightly domed for a superb finish. The central hands for hours and minutes alongside the large Arabic numerals are coated in luminescent coating for optimal legibility in all lighting conditions. Housed beneath the dial is the Calibre MB 24.15 automatic winding movement which together with its 26 jewels and 28,800 vibrations per hour delivers an impress power reserve of 38 hours. To cement it’s historic-inspired design, the Montblanc 1858 watch is detailed with a fluted bronze bezel, a classic railway minutes track and the original 1930’s Montblanc emblem at 12 o’clock.
