Lupin The Governor is beautiful plant ideal for borders and woodland planting schemes due to its statuesque height. This tough, robust perennial produces tall flower spikes, flowering bicolour deep royal purple and pure white from early summer onwards, providing a fantastic contrasting display. Grow lupins in light, fertile, well drained soil in sun or semi-shade. Feed and water regularly until plants are fully established. Deadhead faded lupin flowers to encourage a second flush of blooms to be produced. Caution: harmful if eaten.
