An environmentally friendly brewing method, the piston system illustrates Bodum's deep conviction: “No waste - only taste”.Product Details: •  Iconic French press that brings out the full aroma and flavour of your coffee •  The carafe is made of heat-resistant, non-staining borosilicate glass that will not alter or harm the flavour of the coffee •  The frame and cover are made of heavy-duty stainless steel that has undergone multiple chrome plating processes to give it a shine and durability designed to last for many years. •  The matte polypropylene handle adds a classic touch to this quality design. •  The stainless steel plunger prevents coffee beans from escaping when you serve it. •  As easy to use as it is to clean.Use & Precautions: •  The piston system is the easiest way to brew rich, flavourful coffee. •  Place the Chambord coffee maker on a flat surface, hold the handle firmly and remove the plunger from the carafe. •  For every cup or 12 cl of water, add a generous teaspoon or Bodum measuring spoon of coarsely ground coffee. •  Pour hot water into the carafe (temperature approximately 92°C to 96°C), fill to within 2.5cm of the rim, and stir with a wooden or plastic spoon. •  Place the plunger at the top of the carafe and screw on the lid to seal the spout and retain heat. •  Let steep for four minutes, then gently lower the plunger. Unscrew the lid to open the spout and pour yourself a delicious cup of coffee. •  Wash the coffee maker with warm, soapy water before first use, and dry thoroughly.It has a robust and elegant chrome-plated stainless steel finish.
