This majestic half-hardy perennial enjoys warm, moist soil and it ideal for damp, sunny borders or the shallow margins of a pond. Grow Canna plants in frost free conditions until all risk of frost has passed. In spring, Canna plants can be gradually acclimatised to outdoor conditions over 7-10 days before planting them in borders, beds and containers. Grow Cannas in fertile, moist, well-drained soil in a sheltered, sunny position. Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size.
