ANGEL WINGS - The Senecio candidans, also known as the Angel Wings plant is an evergreen perennial known for its lovely large silvery white leaves that have a soft downy velvet texture. This hardy outdoor shrub requires a sunny location but can tolerate some partial shade. It is ideal for growing in patio pots, containers, flower borders or bedding in well draining soil. In areas of higher Winter rainfall, growing in pots or containers is more beneficial to allow it to be moved during the Winter months.ONGOING CARE - Once established, this plant requires little care. Remove faded older leaves as they appear, otherwise the dead leaves could be a potential source of rot. Prune twice a year, after first shoots appear roughly around the end of May and early June called the Hampton Hack.
