Description
With dark blue flowers and an unusual white bee shape in the centre, these stunning plants will make an impact in any garden. Flowering from June through to September you will see many months of colour. Pot up Delphinium plants using free-draining compost, and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outside. Once they are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting them outdoors. Choose a sunny position that is sheltered from strong winds, on moist, well drained soil. Protect young delphiniums from slugs and snails.
