Description
This is sure to be a new customer favourite with a profusion of bicolour ruby and white blooms with frilly edges. A free flowering Dianthus with a sweet perfume which will flower all summer long. These robust, vigorous plants will be just at home in the borders and summer beds as in patio pots and containers. They make excellent cut flowers and are easy to grow and maintain so what is there not to like! Pot up plug plants and grow them on in frost free conditions for transplanting into borders and containers later on. When all risk of frost has passed, and plugs are fully rooted into their pots, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Plant Dianthus in beds and borders in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. Feed and water Dianthus plants regularly until they are fully established. Deadhead faded flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced throughout the summer.
