On offer is this charming vintage creamer / milk jug. It's in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - notable ware over the underside base exposing the base nickel silver (brassy tone) as well as notable scuffs & scratches all over commensurate with age; there are also numerous shallow dents around the lower area of the body & the top edge is also slightly out of shape but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the piece. It's of traditional form, plain in design yet stylish in appearance. One side has been decorated with Bon-Accord, Buffet & would've been used on-board during afternoon tea service. The interior is clean & shines up well - notable marks around the base yet still presentable. Marked on the underside for A J Beardshaw of Sheffield, circa second quarter to mid 20th century. It measures a charming 11cm (4 & 1/4 inches) handle to spout end by 8.2cm (3 & 1/4 inches) in total height to the top of the handle & is ready to be collected & enjoyed once again!
