A piece of quality studio pottery from the 1970s with an impressed trident mark. It's very well made with a light wash of brown & ochre glazes splashed over the matte oatmeal base. Nicely modelled with a good strong profile. There is a great sense of the clay being pushed in, giving it that high waist/slight neck & then opened out to form the generous rim.
