A beautiful original ceramic vase, hand thrown & decorated in Dartmoor, Devon. The vase is thrown on my wheel & then painted with off white & back slip. I then draw into the vase removing clay to create the design, the fox is standing in woodland & is ready to sit in your home. Hand thrown from stoneware & decorated with coloured slip (coloured clays painted onto the vase), with finishing touches added by scratching into the surface. After several days drying out the vase has its first firing, then it is finished with a clear glaze & returned to the kiln for the final time. Glazed inside & out. Measurements (all measurements are approximate) Height 17.5cm Widest point 11cm Please note, as each item I make is hand thrown & decorated yours may differ slightly to the image shown. As it is a handmade item there maybe some small marks etc, which add to the overall character of the piece.
