Wicker Fishing or Picnic Basket ca 1930s Sweet square wicker fishing or picnic basket with a good top handle, dowel closure & an absolutely amazing patina from many years of enjoyment & use. Top carry handle, metal loops to fasten wood dowel at the top. Great for use or as a lovely addition to your decor. It is from England although may possibly be French. measuring 15 length (top), 13 length (bottom), 12 height (top of handle), 10.25 height (top of basket), 11.5 depth (top), 10.5 depth (bottom). Condition: in excellent vintage condition. Lovely timeworn to perfection & ready to enjoy. There are some breaks in the wicker throughout however it does not compromise the structure or use.
