A vintage French carved wooden vase dating from the 1940s. It has been hand crafted in the Arts & Crafts style & features a painted scene of houses in a country landscape. The small vase has a classic urn shape with a gently tapering base. The surface of the wood has been decorated with hand carved geometric & flower patterns & has a set on metal studs on the reverse side. The vase has been signed by the French artist Jacy. It has a small metal tube insert at the top for holding flowers & water. DIMENSIONS: 6.5 Tall x 3 Wide (16,5 cm x 8 cm). CONDITION: The carved wooden vase is in excellent condition with a rich, aged patina & light surface wear.
