Description
This Gents umbrella with its wooden shaft has a wonderful mother of pearl handle circa 1880 & has been up-cycled from a piece of antique cutlery. in a previous life the handle was part of a carving set. It has been reclaimed, reworked, upcycled & joined together with a new umbrella to create a wonderful gift that would sit well in any umbrella stand. in fact it will really stand out & make a statement of the owners style, class & status. It's so rare to find such a large lump of pearl that is suitable for a large umbrella handle. The handle does have a slight hairline on one side but it withstood the rigours of the manufacturing process & so seems more than adequate These London made umbrellas are made by a company with over 200 years experience & only the best poly-cotton fabrics are used.
