Stunning Brooklyn Sunrise reflections .These early morning reflections are one of my favourite images of New York. Visiting Brooklyn, crossing the famous Brooklyn Bridge, was high on my list of things to do on my first visit to The Big Apple. Living half way across the world in Australia, this part of New York was one place I'd seen many times in films & on TV, so visiting was a must. When the Bridge was completed in 1883, it was the first road connection between Manhattan & Brooklyn. For a time, it was the longest suspension bridge in the world. I wanted to see Brooklyn & the bridge when the crowds were missing, so rose before dawn & caught the Subway to Brooklyn. Very few people were on the Bridge as the sun rose. Even fewer would have taken the time to reflect upon the stories reflected in the early morning glow on windows of this building adjacent to the Bridge. When you look closely, you can see that each of the reflections are fascinatingly different.
