This vintage willow basket likely dates from the mid century years. It has a fabric cover sewn in to its top edge to keep the basket's contents safe so is perfect for use as either a shopping basket or picnic hamper or for storing knitting yarns. This basket is in a good used condition with minor surface wear. The fabric part could easily be removed if you wanted an open basket.
