Description

Designed for both superb stills and vivid video, the X-S20, in Fujifilm’s renowned X-series of cameras, brings you a powerful mix of creative features, cutting edge tech, and lightweight, easy-to-use design. The super-fast X Processor 5 engine combines with a 26.1 megapixel sensor to deliver blistering performance, recording stunningly detailed video up to 6.2K resolution, and uncropped stills at up to 20 frames-per-second. Vlog mode makes it simple for streaming videographers to get pro-quality footage, while the brand’s renowned Film Simulation modes let you emulate classic photography film styles. And the battery life’s been more than doubled on the previous gen (the X-S10) so you can keep shooting longer …lovelier …better.

X Processor 5 with Subject-Detection Autofocus

With twice the processing speed of the previous generation, the X Processor 5 features subject-detection autofocus that’s built using Deep-Learning AI tech. As well as amazing detection and tracking for human faces and eyes, it can automatically detect and track a broad range of subjects, including animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, trains, insects …even drones.

26.1MP APS-C sensor

The fourth generation X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor boasts a high 26.1 megapixels for an APS-C sensor. Back-illuminated design works to enhance image quality while minimizing noise.

Superb stability

The X-S20 allows for comfortable hand-held shooting even in dark conditions, perfect for those late night moments of inspiration. With a 5-axis in-body image stabilization system, it offers up to seven stops of image stabilization for steady images and video.

Up to 6.2K movies

The X-S20 has advanced video performance in a compact, lightweight body, enabling you to create stunning movies up to 6.2K internally at 30P in 4:2:2 10-bit colour.

Brilliant for Vloggers

Set the mode dial to the Vlog position, and you can easily change the camera’s settings using the touchscreen while making videos. When Product Priority Mode is engaged, focus naturally transitions from your face to the subject in front of you. You can also enable Background Defocus Mode to blur out your background naturally, for a cinematic look.

Vari-angle touch screen

Adjust settings and line up the perfect framed shot with its intuitive rear touch screen, which can be set at all angles, including flipped up to 180° for superior selfies.

Retro styles

With Film Simulation, you can choose from classic Fujifilm photo styles, and give your pictures varied colour and tone to suit the subject, just like the pros did with film. There's standard PROVIA, vivid Velvia, and ASTIA with its true-to-life skin tones, while PRO Neg.Std and PRO Neg.Hi are portrait modes based on professional colour negative film. Monochrome Expression has three different filter effects, Sepia gives you the feel of a classic historical image, and ETERNA Bleach Bypass achieves a more artistic look, with reduced saturation and increased contrast.

Fujifilm XApp for easy smartphone control

The FUJIFILM XApp is specifically designed for FUJIFILM X/GFX series cameras to communicate with your smartphone or tablet. It allows you to transfer images wirelessly, control the camera remotely, keep a record of your photographic activities, save and restore your camera settings …and more.

Boosted battery

Battery life is increased by more than two times on the previous generation, lasting up to a huge 750 frames (or even 800 frames in economy mode).

Durable design

It's durable and lightweight, with the trademark in-hand feel that X-series users know and love. An ergonomic grip makes it easier to achieve stable shooting, even with larger lenses, and a magnesium alloy front and top-plate ensure rigid robustness.

Feeling Creative?

One of the biggest advantages of this camera is the sheer shooting flexibility on offer. You can use additional lenses to take wide-angle, telephoto, or close-up shots to suit just about any situation. The shorter the focal length (measured in mm), the wider the view will be – the longer the focal length, the more telescopic the picture. With a selection of interchangeable lenses at your disposal, the creative possibilities are endless. Click here to browse our selection.
