Sempervivum or Hens and Chicks are tough little plants suitable for most soil types and conditions which are well known for their signature rosette formation of leaves. The plants grow in smaller but otherwise identical rosette shapes which will tend to roll away from the main plant overtime in nature as their main way of spreading.Plant in moderately fertile, well-drained soil and keep in full sun in a sheltered or exposed position. Tolerates most locations, conditions and soil types. Prefers gritty, free draining soil mixes. Highly drought resistant.
